LAWN MAINTENANCE

1. What is included in your Lawn Maintenance service?

 Mowing, Edging, Trimming and cleaning off hard surfaces of grass clippings and debris.

2. How can I schedule my Lawn Maintenance service?

Weekly (March-November), Biweekly (March-November) or Annually (March-February) Weekly and Biweekly are schedule through November or until first frost, which ever comes first. 

3. What is included in your Annual Lawn Maintenance service?

Weekly Mow, Edge, Trim and clean off hard surfaces. (March-September)

Biweekly Mow, Edge, Trim and clean off hard surfaces. (November-December) Leaf mulching included but not bagging and removal of leaves. 

Monthly service allowing us to keep an eye on your property and help prevent future issues. (January-February)

4. Will I get the same amount of man hours each service if I choose the Annual Lawn Maintenance?

The man hours spent during the winter months may or may not be equal to the man hours spent during the spring/summer months. This is based on time needed to complete your service.

LAWN CARE

1. What are your lawn care packages?

Our Lawn Care services consist of three packages; Basic, Full and Premium.

2. What is included in your Basic Lawn Care package?

Soil Test (January-February), Pre-Emergent (February/March & end of September),   Fertilization (April, June & September).

3. What is included in your Full Lawn Care package?

Soil Test (January-February), Pre-Emergent (February/March and end of September),  Post Emergent (spot treatment weed control),  Fertilization (April, June, & September) Grub Prevention. 

4. What is included in your Premium Lawn Care Package?

Soil Test (January-February), Pre-Emergent (February/March), Post Emergent (weed spot treatment),  Fertilization (April, June, & September) Additional Treatment (according to your unique needs). Aeration (March)  

5.  Can I have Lawn Care in addition to Lawn Maintenance?

Yes, you may add the service to your Weekly, Biweekly or Annual Lawn Maintenance.

6. Can I get Lawn Care services by themselves as a stand-alone service?

Yes, just Contact us for scheduling.

7. Can I receive a One-time Lawn Care treatment?

Yes, just contact us for scheduling. Just know, you will be scheduled around our repeat customers.

PERIMETER PEST CONTROL

  1. Is Pest Control really necessary?

Yes, pest control helps keep your family and pets safe from stinging and biting insects. As well as, help keep your lawn in healthy and strong. 

2. Is Pest Control safe for kids and pets?

Pest Control is safe for kids and pets when applied according to the label.

3. Will rain wash away Pest Control?

Rain can reduce the effectiveness of pest control depending

on treatment and chemical used. 

4. Do I need Pest Control in the winter?

Yes, there are certain insects which are still active in our East Texas area.

For example, Fire Ants!!

5. Are mosquitoes a real health hazard.

Yes, mosquitoes transmit West Nile, Malaria, and Zika. These can all be fatal. 

6. What pest are included in your Perimeter Pest Control?

Moles, Voles, Gophers, Ants, Crickets, Scorpions, Spiders, Mosquitoes, Stinging Insects, etc. Contact us for more details. 

LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE

  1. What does Landscape Maintenance include?

Landscape Maintenance may include flower bed maintenance or installation. Mulch Installation and Pruning/Trimming shrubs and small trees may also be part of Landscape Maintenance.

2. Can Landscape Maintenance be added to Lawn Maintenance?

Yes, you can add maintenance as a one-time service to any Lawn Maintenance or schedule to repeat according to your needs.

PROPERTY CLEANUPS

  1. Do you do Spring or Fall Cleanups?

Yes, we do.

2. What is included in your Spring Cleanup?

Leaf and debris removal, Mow, Edge, Trim, Flower bed cleanout, Pruning/trimming trees/shrubs, cutting back Perennials. 

3. What is included in your Fall Cleanup?

Leaf Removal, Final Mow, Edge & Trim for the season, cut back perennials after 1st frost if needed, remove low hanging tree limbs, trim hedges.

4. Do you offer one-time property cleanups?

Yes, you would just need to contact us for scheduling.

5. Do you offer commercial property cleanups?

Yes, contact us for more details. 

PRESSURE WASHING

1. How often should I wash my house?

Once a year. This help prevent algae and bacteria build up. Especially on vinyl siding. 

2. Does pressure washing increase the value of my property?

In most cases, yes. It help improve the curb appeal and first impression from buyers. 

3. What is included if I get my house washed?

Siding, Trim, Fascia, Window Sills, Garage Door, Windows, Soffits

GUTTER CLEANING

1. How will I know my gutters need to be cleaned?

Your gutters will overflow when it rains or you will notice

no water coming out the downspouts.

2. What is the most common gutter problem?

Gutters getting clogged with debris. This can restrict water flow

and cause damage to you home. 

3. What time of year is best for gutter cleaning?

Spring and/or Fall. This keeps the gutters clean so rainfall can move freely. 

CANCELATIONS 

1. Do you have contracts?

At this time, That Guy's does not have contracts for our residential customers. We operate with the understanding that our clients are to honor their word as we honor ours. 

 2. Can I cancel my service?

You can cancel your service anytime. We just ask that you give us a 2-weeks notice of the cancelation. If you do not provide a 2-weeks notice your account will be charged a $50 cancelation fee. That Guy's Lawn & Perimeter Pest, LLC. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any appointments following a cancelation. 

DISCOUNTS

Do you offer discounts?

At this time, we offer 2 discounts to our customers. A Veteran's Discount and a Referral Discount. Contact us for more information. 

HOLIDAYS & VACATIONS

  1. What happens if my scheduled day falls on a national holiday?

On weeks when a national holiday falls on Monday-Friday, we will adjust the rest of the weeks schedule by one day so that we can service all remaining lawns the day after their scheduled day. 

2. What about vacations?

Vacations will be scheduled in the off season or the weekly schedule will be adjusted to accommodate the days needed by the owner of That Guy's. You do not have to be home for us to complete your service. If you have a scheduled vacation and would like to change days. Please see the Change Request Policy. 

PAYMENTS

1. When is my bill due?

That Guy's Lawn & Perimeter Pest, LLC. invoices on a monthly basis. Invoices are sent by email on the first day of the month. Your bill is due by the 10th of the month. 

2. What payment options to you accept?

Check, Cash App, Cash or Money Order. Checks are made payable to That Guy's Lawn & Perimeter Pest, LLC.

3. Do you have a return check fee?

Yes, $40 plus a requirement that your account balance be paid in full. 

PETS

  1. Do I need to put my pets up or keep inside on my scheduled day?

Yes, Safety of your pets is of our utmost importance. 

2. Do I need to pick up my property items including pet waste?

Yes, if we arrive for your service and you have not picked up your property of items or waste, we will do so. There will be a $25 service fee added to your bill for Pet Waste Removal. Please refer to our Pet Policy for more details.Â
